36 weeks, 3 days pregnant....the countdown begins.... :)
Julian went for his 18 month checkup today and he weighs 25 lbs, and is 32 inches tall, both in the 50th percentile. He did have one vaccination, today, for Hepatitis A. I guess he should have another one in 6 months, and then that will be it for him till he's about 4, the doctor said. The pediatricians we go to are a husband/wife couple and Julian usually sees the wife, but, since she just had her baby (at 37 weeks), she was on maternity leave. We actually like both of the doctors very well, it just so happened that she officially became his pediatrician, I guess since he saw her first. Anyway, they had a girl! They had signs up in the office, and everything! I was very excited for them.
Other than all that, he said Julian was doing just fine, developmentally and all. He said he should be able to practically understand everything we say now, and to be able to understand simple commands. Oh, and at lunch today, he fed himself refried beans and cheese with a spoon all by himself! I was very proud of him.
