Brian and I are patiently (somewhat) awaiting the arrival of our daughter, Adia. I am 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow (June 23rd). I had a dr.'s appointment today and I am 1 cm dilated, which doesn't mean a whole lot! I dilated to 1 cm with Julian at 30 weeks, and was pregnant for another 2 months! Of course, over the course of that time, I had dilated to 3 cms. before going into 'active labor'.
We don't think Julian knows very much about what is happening or what is about to happen. We ask him, "where's the baby?" and he either points to his own stomach, or to mine. He constantly points out babies in pictures or real ones and the ones on TV shows like 'Birth Day' or 'A Baby Story' (both of which I am addicted to!).
Anyway, I hope to update this blog as much as possible and as much as time permits. Once we get home from the hospital, I will post pictures of Julian and Adia.
